Overview of Tibit
Tibit is one of the five planets in the Severin Sector, known for its dense forests and rocky plateaus. It closely resembles Turing in the Umlaut Sector and was identified as the most significant Automaton production hub in the region during Operation Swift Disassembly. Securing this planet was critical to disrupting the enemy’s war machine.
Topography
Tibit features lush vegetation and vibrant, colorful plant life, spreading uninterrupted across the planet. Some Helldivers have referred to it as a “purple Malevelon Creek” due to similarities in terrain and its role as a major Automaton stronghold.
History
During Operation Swift Disassembly, intelligence confirmed that Tibit played a key role in producing illegal Automaton combatants. Securing it would cripple enemy reinforcements and prevent further resource exploitation. However, following the failure of the Ubanea Gambit, Helldivers struggled to regain momentum, ultimately failing to liberate Tibit in the initial phase of the campaign.
In response, Automatons expanded Factory Striders and Gunship Facilities, decreasing Tibit’s strategic value while broadcasting simulated oaths of vengeance to fabricate an illusion of grief for “murdered” in-development bots. Despite this disinformation, their counteroffensive remained a real threat.
After successfully repelling the Automatons’ desperate counterattack, Helldivers launched a final assault during the fourth and final phase of Operation Swift Disassembly, securing Tibit. Although much of its industry had been relocated, the destruction of remaining factories forced enemy forces to thin their planetary defenses, hastening the Severin Sector’s full liberation the following day. SEAF teams continued intelligence sweeps of Automaton facilities until the surprise invasion of the Valdis and Lacaille Sectors days later.
