Overview of Siemnot
Siemnot is one of the four planets within the Xi Tauri Sector, located on the far edge of Super Earth’s frontier. Originally discovered during the First Galactic War, its colonization was delayed until the Great Democratization, leading to small, isolated settlements that gradually developed into urbanized colonies. Due to its remote location, Siemnot remained peaceful and largely untouched by conflict—until the resurgence of a long-forgotten enemy.
Topography
Siemnot shares geographic similarities with Genesis Prime and Gemma, featuring lush forests, rocky plateaus, and scattered bodies of water. The planet’s mild climate and fertile soil made it an ideal colony for agriculture and resource gathering, allowing its settlers to self-sustain despite their isolation from central Super Earth territories.
History
For most of its existence, Siemnot remained a quiet, overlooked colony, largely unaffected by the major battles of the Second Galactic War. However, on January 2nd, 2185, the planet suddenly found itself under siege by an ancient enemy once believed extinct—the Illuminate.
Following their successful raid on Sirius, the Illuminate swiftly moved on to Siemnot, seeking to plunder its settlements and resources. With the war effort already stretched thin across multiple battlefronts, the Helldivers had to quickly deploy reinforcements to contain the invading forces. As High Command scrambled to issue new orders, the defenders of Siemnot fought to prevent the planet from falling to the alien menace, marking the beginning of its role in the Second Galactic War.
