Overview of Liberty Ridge

Liberty Ridge is one of the four planets within the Meridian Sector, known for its thriving economy and well-developed urban colonies. Settled after the First Galactic War, it became one of the most prosperous worlds in the sector, with its citizens enjoying stability, growth, and the security of Managed Democracy.

Topography

Liberty Ridge’s terrain is similar to Valmox and Elysian Meadows, featuring rolling hills, fertile plains, and vast stretches of grasslands. The planet’s temperate climate supports agriculture, industry, and urban expansion, making it a strategically valuable world.

History

Liberty Ridge remained peaceful and prosperous for much of its history. Having been colonized after the First Galactic War, it quickly developed into a bustling economic hub, with thriving cities and a strong local economy. The planet’s stability and security made it an attractive destination for settlers, who found freedom and prosperity under Super Earth’s governance.

However, such peace would not go unchallenged. On December 29th, 2184, the Illuminate, an ancient and long-forgotten enemy of Super Earth, launched a devastating raid on Liberty Ridge as part of a broader campaign of attacks that had been escalating over the previous two weeks following their failed invasion of Calypso.

Unlike previous battles where the Illuminate managed to escape after their assaults on Keid and Julheim, the Helldivers, filled with righteous fury and unwavering resolve, mobilized in full force to intercept the raiders before they could plunder Liberty Ridge. The battle for the planet became one of the most decisive engagements in the ongoing war against the Illuminate, as the Helldivers deployed en masse, determined to defend their fellow citizens and crush the xenophobic invaders once and for all.
