Overview of Hesoe Prime
Hesoe Prime is one of the five planets in the Rigel Sector, originally a peaceful colony on the Southern Galactic Rim. Its remote location spared it from early conflicts, but it eventually became a target for the Illuminate’s relentless raids.
Topography
Hesoe Prime’s terrain is similar to Mog, New Stockholm, and Hadar, featuring vast frozen plains, jagged cliffs, and deep subterranean caverns. Its harsh climate and icy landscapes made it a challenging environment for both colonization and warfare.
History
Hesoe Prime was an unremarkable yet prosperous colony of Super Earth, settled sometime after the First Galactic War. For much of its existence, it remained undisturbed, with no major conflicts threatening its stability. However, this peace would not last.
On December 23rd, 2184, as the Helldivers were engaged in the Umlaut Sector, the Illuminate launched a surprise raid on Hesoe Prime, seeking to plunder resources and disrupt Super Earth’s expansion. The Helldivers reacted quickly, deploying forces to intercept the invaders. Yet, despite 12 hours of intense fighting, the Illuminate successfully retreated, leaving Hesoe Prime in ruins.
The devastated citizens of Hesoe Prime were given little time to recover before another invasion struck the planet. On December 30th, the Illuminate launched a dual assault, simultaneously attacking Hesoe Prime and Hort, another colony in the Rigel Sector. Determined to avenge the previous losses, the Helldivers mobilized once more, engaging in another fierce battle to repel the alien invaders.
