Overview of Baldrick Prime

Baldrick Prime is one of the four planets within the Meridian Sector, located in the Southern Galactic Rim. A relatively quiet and prosperous colony, it flourished under Managed Democracy, its citizens enjoying stability and economic success before it was dragged into the chaos of war.

Topography

Baldrick Prime’s terrain closely resembles Mantes, Meissa, and Gaellivare, featuring rolling plains, dense forests, and scattered mountain ranges. The planet’s temperate climate makes it a highly habitable world, with abundant freshwater sources and fertile lands. However, frequent electrical storms and sporadic seismic activity make long-term infrastructure development a challenge.

History

Baldrick Prime remained peaceful and uneventful for most of its history. Settled after the First Galactic War, it slowly expanded into a flourishing colony, with its citizens investing in urban infrastructure and economic growth. Over time, small settlements grew into well-structured cities, allowing Baldrick Prime to develop a stable local economy and become self-sufficient within the Meridian Sector.

However, such prosperity would not go unnoticed by tyranny. On December 22nd, 2184, the Illuminate, a long-forgotten enemy of Super Earth, launched a coordinated attack on Baldrick Prime and Osupsam, continuing their ruthless campaign of raids that had plagued the Southern Galactic Rim since the week prior.

At the time, the Helldivers were deeply engaged in Operation Wormhole Spaghetti at the Umlaut Sector, attempting to contain a massive Terminid infestation. With most of the Helldiver Corps occupied, only a fraction of their forces could be dispatched to Baldrick Prime in an attempt to repel the Illuminate’s insidious assault.

For 12 grueling hours, the brave defenders of Baldrick Prime fought valiantly, determined to protect their homes and their freedom. However, the Illuminate’s hit-and-run tactics proved highly effective, as they swiftly looted vital resources, abducted citizens, and vanished into the darkness of space before the Helldivers could fully contain their raid.

Though the battle was lost, the people of Baldrick Prime remained steadfast in their loyalty to Super Earth, determined to rebuild their world and resist future incursions from tyranny’s grasp.
