However, heat-based weapons dissipate heat faster, contrary to the in-game description that suggests a delay in heat buildup. For example, the LAS-98 Laser Cannon, which normally takes 15 seconds to fully cool down, experiences a 33% reduction in cooldown time, bringing it down to 10 seconds. This faster heat dissipation applies to all heat-based weapons, allowing them to sustain fire for longer periods without overheating.
